Featured Exhibit: When Castle Rock was a Rain Forest
This summer we’re proud to display locally-discovered fossils in our exhibit, “When Castle Rock was a Rain Forest.” The fossils, on loan from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, were discovered during the widening of Interstate 25, and are sixty-four million years old. Our exhibit was featured in the Douglas County News-Press and is on display through October.
